What a weekend! I've got to admit, I'm kind of glad to be back at work. I may get a bit more rest here than I did at home all weekend. I don't think I stopped for more than 10 minutes.

Before I get to my weekend, let me just say that as some of you know I am getting married this year. So along the way I will be sharing our adventures in wedding day prep. This weekend was all about the cake. I've been dieting for months and trying so hard to be good that all I can say is CCCCCAAAAKKKKKEEEEE! I didn't eat just one flavor of cake but fourteen different decilious ones. How is a girl suppose to choose between flavors like...

Chocolate

Vanilla

Vanilla Rum

Marble

Amaretto

Lemon

Key Lime

Orange

Carrot Cake

Red Velvet

Dulce de Leche

Guava

Cookies and Cream

Piña Colada

I can officially mark cake flavor and design off my To Do List!

Do you ever get that feeling like all you do is clean dishes? That's how I was feeling this weekend.I don't know how two people can produce so many dishes. I don't think I've ever done so many dishes, with the exception of a holiday party.

Not bad for hours of scrubbing and cleaning and folding and lifting, if I do say so myself! I scurbbed every surface of my kitchen, all the floors, sweep the rugs, four loads of laundry, and like I mentioned, cleaned more dishes than I care to recount! Oh yeah, I also cleaned up the yard. Mama needs a spa day!

Then there was the search for the perfect couch! There was a ton of couch surfing going on this weekend, but I finally got a new one through the door! Now I just need to figure out where exactly I want it to go.
